Christmas Jam 2010 - 2011

For the past 23 years, Warren Haynes has coordinated his annual Christmas Jam. Like a family reunion, the annual, one-of-a-kind, semi-structured marathon of music brings together old friends on stage and in the audience at the Civic Center Arena in Asheville, N.C. for one of the countries greatest live events. The London Times has rated it "One of the top ten concerts in the USA". Both Paul and Preston have been asked to design this event's lighting, Paul in 2010 and Preston in 2011.

Widespread Panic - Bonnaroo 2011

With Widespread Panic celebrating their 25th anniversary, and Bonnaroo celebrating their 10th, both camps wanted to put on a show to remember. In addition to making arrangements to use the WP touring rig at this festival, we also added some video pods and a large package from Syncrolite consisting of Arena Visions (first use in rock and roll) and MX-3 moving lights. The result was a huge lighting rig that extended well outside the typical boundaries of the stage area. The Arena Vision fixtures illuminated the audience going back several hundred yards from the stage.

Furthur - Radio City Music Hall

Going into Radio City Music Hall is always a special experience. Not only is it the most impressive theater in the world but t offers things that no other theater can. Radio City has the largest moving high resolution video wall in the world meaning it can be flown in and out from the grid. Furthur has done runs there in 2010 and 2011. Both times we utilized the video wall to add an extra dimension to these shows. Here are the pictures from 2011.

This was killer. The light show was intense, but you would have to have been there to understand.
